About DVOTION Labs
We help athletes use their assessment results to guide training. Visit us at UNTIL Liverpool Street or Marylebone for testing, coaching and specialist support.
Our approach
Your goal sets the direction. We start by discussing what you are training for, your experience and the time you can commit. That helps us choose the assessments that will be useful for your next training block.
Testing gives us information about your fitness, movement, force production or fuelling needs. We explain what the results mean and how you can use them, from setting training intensities to choosing exercises or planning hydration for an event.
You can take those recommendations into your own training or work with a DVOTION coach. With coaching, we review your progress and adjust the plan as your fitness, goals and schedule change.

Assessment and coaching
Your assessment gives your coach a starting point for your programme. Endurance results help set training intensities, movement findings inform exercise selection, and force plate testing helps identify priorities for strength and power.
Your coach considers those findings alongside your goals, training history and schedule. We review how you respond to training and use reassessment when it can help guide the next stage.

Movement
Biomechanical Assessment assesses the positions you can access and how you complete different tasks. Force plate testing adds measurements of how you brake, produce force and use each leg during a jump.
We interpret these findings alongside your sport and training history to recommend exercises and areas to develop. A difference between sides does not, on its own, indicate a problem or diagnose an injury.

Strength and conditioning
Your strength programme reflects the demands of your sport, your assessment results and your experience in the gym. We choose exercises, loads and session frequency to fit your current ability and the rest of your training.
As you progress, your coach adjusts the programme using your performance in sessions and your feedback on recovery. Strength work is planned around endurance sessions and competition so the training fits together.

Endurance coaching
Aris Myrkos, Head of Sport Physiology, leads endurance coaching. Your programme combines easy sessions, longer efforts, harder work and recovery around your event, current fitness and available training time.
Endurance testing helps us set pace, power or heart rate ranges for your sessions. We keep lactate and ventilatory thresholds separate in your report and explain how the findings apply to your training.
The team
Chris Gkoufas founded DVOTION to bring performance testing and coaching together. Our team works across endurance, strength and conditioning, movement, nutrition, sports therapy and positive psychology.
Aris Myrkos leads sport physiology, with testing supported by the KORR CardioCoach MAX and Hawkin Dynamics force plates. Each practitioner brings their own qualifications and experience. You can read about the people delivering your service on our team page.
FAQs
No. You can come to DVOTION to prepare for an event, improve your fitness or work towards a personal training goal. We recommend assessments and coaching based on what you want to achieve and your current experience.
Yes. Every assessment can be booked on its own. You receive your results, a written report and recommendations you can use yourself or share with your existing coach.
Coaching begins with an assessment suited to your programme. Endurance Performance Profiling can help set training intensities, while Biomechanical Assessment can inform exercise selection. We will help you choose the assessment relevant to your goals.
Our assessments are delivered by Chris Gkoufas, Aris Myrkos, Jacob Lockhart Lister and Rohan Forbes-Oneil. The practitioner depends on the assessment you book. Each assessment page lists the team members who deliver that service, with links to their qualifications and experience.
Retest when the results could help you make a training decision. Around 12 to 16 weeks can be useful for reviewing an endurance training block, but the timing depends on your goal, the assessment and what has changed in your training. We will discuss a suitable interval with you.
We offer assessments by appointment at UNTIL Liverpool Street, 280 Bishops Square, London EC2M 4RB, and UNTIL Marylebone, 1 Orchard Street, London W1H 6HJ.
